Ibis Kayseri

We enjoyed our stay, especially the quick access to Erciyes ski resort, perfect for family fun! The friendly staff made check-in easy and they provided a helpful list of attractions. With the kids, we loved the cozy breakfast options.

Functional-style building, good quality rooms with comfortable bed. Exceptionally nice and unbeatable setting in the perfect area, so close to the airport for one night, the best restaurant, and the Erciyes mountain. Next door to Ibrahim Halilullah Cami and other tourist attractions.

Clean and functional accommodations near the airport.

My experience was tarnished by the restaurant staff's attitude. I waited a lengthy 45 minutes to be served even with few tables occupied. When the food finally arrived, the choices were severely lacking, and I had to repeatedly call for assistance. The initial room we received had a strong cigarette smell, despite the hotel being designated as non-smoking, quite disappointing.

It was convenient for Kayseri Airport. Clean, functional rooms. Modern design. Free water, plus tea and coffee facilities. Great price.

No airport transfer, just taxis. I would have appreciated a room with a slightly higher price and a free airport transfer.

Helpful staff. Very close to Kayseri Airport (around 5 min) although far from Capadoccia attractions, it's a good option to spend a night if your flight leaves early in the morning from Kayseri (since Goereme, for example, is 1-hour far from the airport).

Ibis Kayseri was a good surprise! The room was cozy with a big comfortable bed and a desk that offered a lovely mountain view. The staff were attentive and quickly addressed my needs.

The hotel is really close to the airport (15tl by taxi) and has everything you would expect from an ibis hotel: very clean spaces and room, air con, lcd, nice bathroom, free wifi and dining and laundry services (a bit expensive though - 4 tl for each piece of underwear for ex.). Also there was a man at the reception who was really helpful for booking balloon tour in capadoccia. He called the tours and spoke in turkish and then translated to us. Breakfast was not included but was really good despite being expensive (8€ pax).

There was only one staff member who was fluent in english. We recon that most turkish dont speak any english but ibis is an international hotel, so it is unacceptable that you be forces to wait for the one man who can understand you. Despite being close to the Airport, you must still take a taxi. The same to go to the train station or bus station (even farther). Thus, you must take a taxi everywhere to kaiseri. By the way, kaiseri has nothing to do or see so if you are heading to capadoccia, make yourself a favour and stay in capadoccia. (By the way, balloon companies will charge you for pick up services (20€ pax). Finally, the ibis offers low variety for dinning but at least is unexpensive (15tl).

Was slightly stuffy - cigarette smoke smell in corridors and a little in the room.

Beautiful, pleasant and economic city with wide streets. The historic center of the old town merit a visit. Walking around make you feel like you have just travelled back in time. Ideal entrance for transition in the region of Cappadocia. Remember, carpets and kilims are this city's specialty!
